Art Day!

In year 3 at Park campus, we were lucky enough to have an artist in residence for the whole day.  Together with Anne-Marie, the children created 4 stunning pieces of textile art that will really brighten the school once they are completed.  

The focus of the art is A Midsummer Night’s Dream and in particular, the love potion.  The children chose specific words from a poem that we studied during our Shakespeare topic and made them appear to be spilling, shooting and pouring out of the potion bottles.  Here are a few pictures from the day.  I will post a picture of the final pieces once they are fully completed.
