Year 5 English

We are very excited to be studying Who Let The Gods Out? in year 5 this term.  So far, the text has had some recognisable characters and is rather funny! We are also learning about the Ancient Greeks in history, which links to our text.

We have begun to think about writing a Greek myth and yesterday, the focus was on our hero.  In order to gather some high level vocabulary to describe our hero, we thought about specific aspects of our him and worked as a class to increase our class work bank.  After finding some basic adjectives, we used thesaurus’ to improve and uplevel these words.
