Year 6 at Park Campus

We have been learning more about Ancient Egyptians this afternoon-particularly the mummification process.
We didn’t mummify actual humans thankfully! But we did recreate the process using tomatoes and creating our own natron solution using baking soda and salt. We will observe these over the next few days….

We also used clay to make amulets which were good luck charms placed in with the bodies and used as offerings to the gods in the afterlife.
