Year 3- Early Coronation celebrations

Today in Year 3 we prepared for the King’s Coronation by preparing our own little afternoon tea, as part of our DT. We made fruit skewers/ fruit salads and sandwiches. We used knives very sensibly in order to present our sandwiches in the fashion of a traditional afternoon tea.

We also thought about how King Charles III will also be the head of the Commonwealth and tried to incorporate some of their flags into our decorations. Mrs James visited and was very impressed. Particularly enjoying a ham and marmalade sandwich! Well done Year 3!
