Yr2 Quill Writing

In year 2 we have been learning about the Great Fire of London and the diary kept by Samuel Pepys. In history this week we discovered that he wrote over one million words using a quill and ink so we decided to have a go ourselves. After lots of practise we wrote some very neat letters but it was definitely tricky! This really helped us to imagine what it was like to write in the past.
