Year 6 activities

Over the past few weeks, year 6 have been very busy! Here are a few of the activities we have been doing:

Studying African composer Florence Price and exploring body percussion. We have learned about the rondo structure and incorporated movement into the lessons to cement our understanding,

We have created excellent African masks out of clay and practised our clay skills along the way.

We have written beautiful poetry, detailed descriptions and informative non-chronological reports.

In maths, fractions have been a big focus along with coordinates, measure and percentages.

PE has been netball and Real Gym and the children have impressed us with their skills.

There have been so many more activities that it is hard to list them all!
