Royal Street Party

What a great way to end our first full week at school.

The children loved the Royal Street Party this afternoon and enjoyed spending time with their friends in Year 1.

We spent the morning learning about Queen Elizabeth II and were even lucky enough to have a surprise visit from her during the morning. It was a great chance to put our new knowledge about the Queen to the test as we were able to ask her questions about her family, friends and place of residence.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We then joined our Year 1 friends for our afternoon street party where we decorated cakes, played skittles, played pin the crown on the queen and sang the royal family song.
